Brass is the generic term for a range of copper-zinc alloys with differing combinations of properties, including strength, machinability, ductility, wear-resistance, hardness, electrical and thermal conductivity, hygiene, and corrosion resistance.

CZ108 is one of the most popular grades of brass due to its hot and cold working capabilities. It is comprised of 63% copper and 37% zinc. Cz108 copper offers very good corrosion resistance in normal environments and good machinability at slow speeds.
