Quotation FAQ'S

If this is your first time ordering from us, then we will need some extra information from you. We will require a contact name, number, and email address, as well as a business name*, company registration number*, and address to populate your account on our system.

Every quotation will need details on the number of components, the material type, thickness, and grade you require with an accompanying CAD or PDF file. We will also need to know your preferred method of delivery.

*Required if you are purchasing via a business.

Quotes are valid for the entire month in which they are quoted*. We do this as we receive updated price lists from our suppliers monthly, and prices may need to change accordingly.

The materials list on our website includes our standard materials that we either stock or have readily available to us from our suppliers.

Yes, we can offer samples. Please note that depending on the quantity required, the material it is made from, and the size of the component, there may be a charge. The lead time for samples will usually be our standard 3-4 working days. (Minimum order charge does not apply to samples). Please detail in your quote request that you require these.

We accept DXF and DWG files. All drawings will need to be supplied in a 2D format and scaled 1:1.

Yes, we will accept enquiries with free-issue material. Please visit our Free-Issue materials page for more information on our free-issue job requirements.

Yes, in some circumstances we are able to work from a sample. The sample must be flat, and not excessively worn. This process can be time consuming and can reduce the accuracy of the final components and therefore may increase the cost of your project.

We do not offer a design or drafting service.

We do not operate an express service. We constantly endeavour to accommodate all customers’ needs and closely monitor our production schedule to give you a realistic lead time for your work.

Order faq's

Once we have processed your order and it has entered into our production management system, we are not able to modify it. Any modifications to parts, quantities, or addition of other components must be made during the quotation process where we can quickly and easily modify your quote and re-issue it to you.

If you require extra quantities of parts after placing an order, we will happily create you a new quote for the balance required. We will not apply a minimum order charge to this quote.


No, if your components are made of a listed stock material, we will “nest” different jobs onto the same sheet. Nesting refers to the process of arranging the parts on the sheet to cut.  This reduces waste and keeps material costs down for our customers.

Yes, we offer competitive prices on all job quantities and sizes, however larger quantities usually allow for better material utilisation and more efficient production creating bigger savings for you.

We accept BACS payments, cheques, and card payments. Our standard payment terms of End of the Month and 60 days*.

*For account holders. Subject to the necessary credit checks.

Our minimum invoice value is £40 + VAT. We do not operate a minimum order quantity.


We do not offer any secondary process’, your components will come straight from the laser cutting machine.

The largest part we are able to achieve on our laser cutter is 2980mm x 1480mm.

We are able to offer cutting tolerances of +/- 0.20mm.

The rule we use is the minimum hole size should match the gauge of the material the part is made of. However, depending on the material, smaller holes can be achieved. For more information please call us on: 01527 520 355 or, alternatively, email: to discuss your enquiry.


Yes, we will notify you once your order has been completed and is available for collection. Please indicate that collection is your preferred method of delivery when you make your enquiry.

We are able to deliver your goods all over the UK.

Please confirm your desired delivery address with your enquiry so that we can organise the most suitable service and give you an accurate price.

Our normal leads times are 3-4 working days, however this can sometimes vary due to demand and order size. Our team will advise you on our current lead times when you contact us to enquire or place your order.
